Facilities Management at SJEC - A Strategic Review

With a view to foster state-of-the-art facilities at SJEC for student welfare, Dr Rio D’Souza, Vice Principal – SJEC pioneered a meeting of all stakeholders of the institution on 31st March 2017 at 3.30 pm in Fr Fred Memorial Hall in order to review the facilities feedback -November 2016.

Student representatives of various Branches, Clubs represented the bulk of the audience followed by Faculty Coordinators, Vendors of Canteen and Cafeteria and SJEC Management. Dr. Rio D’Souza steered the proceedings and invited Deans and Heads of the Various Departments, Committees, Facilities to share the concerns and action plans for effective utilisation of various resources and services. Vendors also consented to uphold the quality against price paid.

Dr Joseph Gonsalvis, Principal, accordingly advised the student community to make best use of Library and administrative support. Rev Fr Rohith D’Costa, Assistant Director encouraged the students to glance through notice boards and college website regularly to get notified about various announcements. Rev Fr Joseph J Lobo, Director, enlightened the crowd by sharing the difficulties of the deprived and advised the students to be more accountable and be a vital contributor to the organisational growth. The meeting witnessed the commitment from the Top Management towards quality education and the discussions resonated with positive sentiments among the students and staff.
