As a part of VACT activities, Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department organized a Technical Session for 3rd & 5th Semester EEE Students on 22nd August 2017 in Class Room 1103. The objective of this seminar was to improve the technical skillset so that the students will be able to prepare for GATE and other competitive exams in Electrical domain. Information about the public sector companies, IES and GATE exams was discussed with the students. During the interactive session, students are encouraged to gather more information and preparation process was discussed. In the first session, important concepts involving Electric Circuit were discussed. The present knowledge of the students in the particular concept was evaluated by an assessment test with 10 questions. The same questions were solved with multiple methods and shortcuts were told to the students to improve their analytical skills too. The seminar was appreciated by all the students and faculty members present on the occasion. Around 70 students attended the talk.
