A workshop on student empowerment through leadership and communication training was organised at Government First Grade College (G.F.G.C), Mudipu for the final year students of B. Com and B.A program by the students of 1st year MBA of SJEC, Mr Rohan Pai, Ms Reena Sequeira, and Ms Nisha Dias, under the guidance of Dr Prakash Pinto, Dean of MBA at SJEC, Mr Vinish P, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration on 28th March 2018 at G.F.G.C Campus.
The Workshop was organised as a part of the institution’s mission for strengthening the Educational Social Responsibility. Multiple activities on Analytical thinking, Observation skills, Team Management, and Situation handling were conducted by the students followed by a short discussion on learnings out of each activity and skills to focus on the overall improvement of oneself.
The platform enabled the MBA students to switch their role as a trainer and gain experience of training and development under facility constraints.
The participants appreciated the distinctiveness of the activities and execution methods.
