The College-Level Final Year BE Project Exhibition Cum Competition, held on 18 May 2018 to evaluate the final year B.E Projects, began by welcoming the judges in the boardroom at 9:00 am. There were 30 judges, 15 external and 15 internal. The members of the Management, HOD’s of various Engineering Departments and the Coordinators were present.
Mr Joel Antony D'Mello, Coordinator, TECHNOVA- 2018 welcomed the gathering and discussed the evaluation criteria for the projects. The HOD’s of various departments along with the Department coordinators escorted the judges to their respective Departments. A brief inaugural program conducted in the respective departments, where the judges were introduced to the students by the coordinators and welcomed florally, after which the evaluation of the projects were carried out in the various labs. Eight judges evaluated Computer Science & Engineering and Mechanical Engineering projects. Four judges evaluated Civil Engineering and Electrical & Electronics projects. Six judges evaluated the projects of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
A cash prize of Rs 5,000/ for the First prize, Rs 3,000/ for Second Prize and Rs 3,000 for Innovative Project were distributed in their respective Departments.
Total of 143 projects were exhibited and evaluated. The exhibition was kept open for parents and visitors till 5:00 pm.
