MBA: Third lecture in the SJEC Distinguished Lecture Series

The third lecture in the SJEC Distinguished Lecture Series was held on 10 August 2018 at Bishop Aloysius Paul Conference Hall, Academic Block II. Dr John Miller, Retired Senior Lecturer, United Kingdom and Dr Subramaniam Arunachalam, Senior Lecturer, University of East London, United Kingdom were the distinguished speakers. Dr Prakash Pinto, Professor and Dean, MBA, welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource persons to the audience.

Dr John Miller and Dr S. Arunachalam collectively spoke on the topic Changes in the British University System over 50 years. They shared their own life experiences on how they pursued their education, the UK education system, commitment towards their continued learning and challenges they faced. Speaking on quality of British system of education Dr Miller stated, “One has to earn the degree in UK.”  

BE students from Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering and Final year MBA students along with the faculty members attended the lecture.
