The COMEDK Entrance Test (UGET 2012) for the Undergraduate Engineering (BE) Course for the year 2012 – 2013 will be held on 6th May 2012 (Sunday). The start date for issue of online applications is 10th March 2012. Further updates will be hosted from time to time at www.comedk.org.

Christian Minority students who desire to be admitted under Comedk quota to the BE course at St Joseph Engineering College are advised to take this entrance test.

Decennial Glory for SJEC…!
What could be a better gift for a college in its Decennial Year…? Two of our 2011 graduating batch students have done the college proud by bagging university ranks for the first time in the ten years of the existence of the college.

Karthik Madhyastha N. has secured the Second Rank in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) under Mechanical Engg Branch of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. He secured 85.71% of the aggregate marks in the last four semesters of BE (Mech Engg).

Shreeya Shenoy P. has secured the Fourth Rank in BE under Electronics and Communication Engg Branch of VTU, Belgaum. She secured 86.03% of the aggregate marks in the last four semesters of BE (E&C).

The management heartily congratulates both of them on their sterling achievement and wishes them a bright future. The management also thanks all the staff responsible for training of these students.

MCA Team declared Overall Champions at TechnoMelange 2012

General A team consisting of ten students of IV Sem MCA participated in the annual National-Level Technical Fest – TechnoMelange conducted by the Department of MCA of Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, on 28th and 29th March 2012. They were declared the Overall Champions.

MCA Team emerges Runners-up at Epitome 2K12

General A team consisting of twelve students of the IV Sem MCA participated in the annual National-Level Intercollegiate Fest – Epitome 2K12

Decennial SJEC Family Day

General The SJEC Family Day was celebrated on the 19th March 2012. The programme of the day began at 5:00 PM with Most Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore and President of SJEC, offering Holy Eucharist in the College Chapel.

Decennial College Day 2012

General The 10th Annual College Day of the institution was celebrated on the open air stadium on Sunday, 18th March 2012 at 5:30 PM.

Alumni Meet 2012

General The Decennial TechFest 2012 was followed by the Alumni Meet 2012 at 7:00 PM on Saturday, 17th March 2012 on SJEC College Open Air Stadium.

General The Decennial TechFest 2012 came to an end on Saturday, 17th March 2012 with the Valedictory Function at held at 4:30P M in the Mechanical Conference Hall.
