MoUs (Memorandums of Understanding)

An MoU is a formal agreement between SJEC and other institutions or organizations to promote collaboration in academics, research, internships, and training.

MoUs offer students access to international internships, collaborative research, industrial training, expert talks, and higher education guidance.

Yes! Most events are interdisciplinary. Students from all branches are encouraged to attend.

Study Abroad

We provide guidance on university selection, SOP and LOR writing, application support, language preparation, and connect students to alumni abroad.

Typically, you’ll need a Statement of Purpose (SOP), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), academic transcripts, resume, test scores, and passport copy.

Yes! We regularly share information on national and international scholarships through our announcements and website updates.

Competitive Exams

Yes. We organize coaching sessions, Masterclasses, and Mock Tests to help students prepare effectively.

Yes, for most English-speaking countries, scores from tests like IELTS or TOEFL are required. GRE is needed for some master’s programs.

International Opportunities

These are short-term training or research opportunities abroad that help students gain global exposure, often during summer or semester breaks.

Yes. Students are encouraged to start early. Many opportunities are open from the second year onwards.

We currently offer German up to A2 level. Students interested in further levels or French can contact the Collaborations Office.

Alumni

Yes. Many alumni support students by offering career guidance, mentorship, and insights into study/work life abroad.

General Study Abroad Questions

Ideally, start exploring your options in your second or third year to be well-prepared by the final year.

It includes selecting universities, preparing documents (SOP, LORs, resume), taking language/entrance tests, and submitting online applications.
