Participating in the virtual exchange program on Machine Learning in the Medical Domain at Asia University, Taiwan, played a crucial role in shaping my academic journey. The program provided me with hands-on experience in applying machine learning techniques to real-world medical datasets, strengthening my technical expertise and research mindset. More importantly, this experience significantly bolstered my application for a research-oriented Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at BTU Cottbus, a prestigious public university in Germany. The skills and insights I gained through the program demonstrated my ability to work on AI-driven medical applications, showcasing my readiness for advanced studies. This program not only deepened my understanding of machine learning in healthcare but also provided me with a strong academic foundation that directly contributed to securing my admission. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their AI and research skills.

As the world evolves rapidly, lifelong learning is key to staying ahead. Higher education not only provides academic knowledge but also essential skills for personal and professional growth. Pursuing a master's degree offers a unique experience beyond undergraduate studies, shaping one's perspective through diverse peer groups, responsibilities, and expectations.

After my bachelor's, I wanted to continue my education and decided to pursue a master's degree, where I could build on my foundation and explore new areas that interested me with a more global exposure. After evaluating various options, I chose to join the National University of Singapore (NUS), which is ranked among the top 8 universities globally. Being part of NUS has helped me develop an international perspective by networking and working with peers from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

NUS offers a vast network of resources, an outstanding faculty, and the exposure to different cultures that has made me more adaptable and open-minded, thereby contributing to my personal growth. I've learnt how to expand and maintain my professional network, and I've developed the drive to hustle and excel. This has also pushed me to step out of my comfort zone, accept new challenges, and think more critically.

Gaining admission to prestigious universities like NUS requires more than academic excellence; extracurricular involvement and a passion for the chosen field are equally important. The Office of Collaborations at SJEC played a crucial role in guiding me through the application process by connecting me with the right people and resources. Their support helped me evaluate multiple options across countries like the US and Australia before making an informed decision to join NUS.

My ISIP journey at Avignon University was truly unforgettable. This project—Crowdsourced Digital Twin City aims to develop a crowdsourced digital twin of the Avignon Festival using Unreal Engine or Unity, integrating real-time data from visitors and participants. Leveraging machine learning, it dynamically models crowd behavior, predicts foot traffic, and optimizes space usage for safety and experience enhancement. I gained teamwork and flexibility skills from working with students from various backgrounds, which will be very helpful for my upcoming master's program. My academic development gained a personal touch as I investigated the streets and history of Avignon. My confidence and global perspective were enhanced by this experience, which also equipped me for success in more challenging academic environments. I am deeply thankful to St. Joseph Engineering College's Office of Collaborations, whose assistance made these global opportunities possible.

Pursuing higher education has been one of the most transformative journeys of my life. As a proud alumnus of St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, I owe much of my academic and personal growth to the supportive environment and values instilled during my time there. The faculty and infrastructure provided a solid foundation that helped me build both technical skills and confidence.

Currently, I'm pursuing my Master's in Computer Science at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, where I've had the chance to explore diverse cultures, cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate with students from around the globe. The academic culture here is rigorous yet rewarding, and I often reflect on how well SJEC prepared me to thrive in such an environment. I 'm incredibly grateful to SJEC and the Office of Collaborations for empowering me with the right resources, guidance, and encouragement to take bold steps forward in my academic journey.
