The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EELS), conducted a FDP & SDP on Programmable Logic Controllers for Electrical Engineering students of the 6th semester. Participants gained an understanding of PLC architecture and the different types of PLCs available in the market. Participants also learned about ladder logic programming, a widely used programming language in PLCs. Practical sessions provided insights into digital and analog I/O modules and learned how to configure I/O devices in PLC programs. They also learned troubleshooting techniques for handling I/O issues.
