Dynamic SJEC Prospectors Data:

DynamicSJEC is the official Innovation and Space-tech Club of St. Joseph Engineering College, founded in 2022 by Rynor Gawain Pinto, student of Mechanical Engineering Department, with a vision for developing innovative projects with a social impact. The club encourages its members to push the boundaries of technology through the development of projects such as inspection bots, surveillance VTOL planes, hovercrafts, swam bots and AI-enabled analysis software’s. The club also undertakes the development of space-tech projects, including the design of space rovers and Cube-Satellites. The club has been recognised by the Space Robotics Society (SPROS) and AICTE.

In addition to project development, the club offers specialized training in presenting business ideas, refining presentation techniques, and mastering public speaking skills, ensuring that every member is well-prepared to communicate their groundbreaking concepts with clarity and confidence.


Our Achievements:

  • Rail – Suraksha and Geo – Vision appeared in the top 25 most Innovative Business Ideas at Emerge 2025, the beach side Startup Event organised by Section Infin-8 Foundation.
  • Project Astraios 1.0 secured the 46th rank in the ISRO Space Rover Challenge 2024.
  • Project Astraios 2.0 selected for international collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University, UK.
  • The team secured the 10th rank at TechX Karnataka organised by ComedKares for project Astraios.
  • Project Geo-Vision secured 2nd Place in the NASA Space App Challenge 2023.
  • Astraios 2.0 appeared in the Top 29 best projects at Manthan 2024 organised by FKCCI.
  • Rail – Suraksha secured 3rd place in the NASA Space App Challenge 2024.
  • The team secured 3rd place in Smart India Hackathon 2022 at ADIT, Gujarat.
  • Finalist of Smart India Hackathon 2024, Amal Jyothi college of engineering, Kerala.

Current Projects:

  • Development of ASTRAIOS 2.0 - an AI-enabled lunar rover having advanced navigational capabilities for multi-terrain exploration and experimentation.
  • Development of Rail – Suraksha, an AI-driven autonomous vehicle for railway track inspection and monitoring.
  • Development of Inspecto V1 – Air duct inspection bot.
  • Development of Geo-Vision, an AI enabled vegetation estimation software.
