SJEC IUCEE Student's Chapter

About

The IUCEE Student Chapter (SISC) at St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) was established to create a community of aspiring engineers focused on learning, innovation, and professional growth. The chapter bridges the gap between academics and industry by offering students a platform to develop skills, engage in projects, and connect with professionals.

Mission and Vision Statements: The chapter’s mission is to foster a collaborative environment that encourages technical excellence, leadership, and community engagement. Through workshops, events, and mentorship, SISC aims to empower students to become professionals ready to contribute meaningfully to their fields. The chapter’s vision is to build a community of skilled, adaptable, and socially responsible engineers. By promoting innovation and sustainable practices, SISC envisions its members making a positive impact on industry and society.

Overview of Membership and Structure: The chapter consists of students from various engineering disciplines, united by their commitment to growth and development. Its leadership structure includes roles such as President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Project Coordinator-1, Project Coordinator-2, Convenor, Media Coordinator, and Student Coordinator, each playing a vital role in organizing events and ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, the chapter has 45+ members. With its expanding membership, SISC continues to attract students eager to enhance their knowledge, develop practical skills, and build professional networks. This collaborative structure fosters innovation and equips members with the tools needed for successful careers.

Key Highlights and Major Achievements: SISC actively engaged in national events like Anurag University National Student Forum (AUNSF 2.0) and IUCEE Annual Student Forum (IASF 2024), connecting students with industry experts and peers for valuable insights and collaboration. The chapter also organized skill-building events such as HackToFuture 2.0 (HTF) and VLSI Talk, providing hands-on experience in problem-solving and VLSI technology. In addition, SISC fostered community development through Speaker's Corner sessions, a Technical Writing Competition, and the official chapter inauguration, promoting idea-sharing and skill-building. These initiatives enhanced SJEC’s visibility in national forums, strengthened students' technical, leadership, and teamwork skills, and established a supportive, knowledge-sharing community that prepares students for future industry demands and continuous growth.
