The Samarthya Club of ECE Department in association with Terror Bull Robotics organized a three days workshop for III year ECE students on "Introduction To Robotics & PCB Integration” from 11-13 April 2023. The Objectives of the workshop were:
● Create PCB designs, perform schematics capture and layout design using KiCAD.
● Perform PCB etching, and integrate sensors and other peripherals.
● Demonstrate a Line following BOT
Dr Dayakshini, HOD-ECE department welcomed the participants and motivated students to have a passion for building prototypes which is crucial for innovation. Mr Adnan Abdulla and his team from Terror Bull Robotics introduced t he participants to the basics of KICAD along with a hands-on session to rig up the basic circuit using a schematic editor., basics of Arduino, PCB etching, and integration of various Components required to build the Line Follower BOT.
Ms Jayalakshmi K P, Mr Glenson Toney, Ms Priya Miranda, Ms Florence Nishmitha, Mr Aldrin Claytus Vaz Assistant Professors of the Department of ECE Coordinated the workshop.
