Dr. Prashant Kumar introduce the topic Error Control Techniques: Mode and Classical Approach . He elaborated how error control coding is frequently used to minimize the errors which occurs naturally in the transmission and storage of digital data. He also explained many methods for decoding such codes which already exist and the choice falls mainly into 22 areas, hard decision algebraic decoding and computationally efficient method and soft decision Comb tutorial recording which although more complex offers better error correction.
Nearly 110 students took part in the session Professor B V Nithyananda presented a memento and a certificate of appreciation to the speaker at the end.
