SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN

On November 25, 2024, AICUF-SJEC organized a value-based activity to observe the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The event aimed to raise awareness about the various forms of violence faced by women and encourage collective action to end it.

The event commenced with Jayashree and Anvitha serving as emcees, ensuring smooth coordination throughout. Salomi, the Women's Welfare Head, delivered a powerful speech on the significance of the day, highlighting key issues such as:

• The different forms of violence women face in daily life.
• The urgent need for awareness and action to prevent such violence.
• The role of society in supporting survivors and promoting safety and equality.

The event witnessed the active participation of the Principal, Vice Principal, faculty, staff, AICUF members, and students. The highlight of the program was the signature campaign, where over 150 signatures were collected from attendees as a pledge to stand against violence towards women.

A video on the campaign was also created, further amplifying the message of the event. This video served as an impactful medium to visually represent the significance of the day and inspire others to take action.

The event concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impact on the participants and reinforcing AICUF's commitment to social justice and gender equality.
