UDAAN-2025

As part of the UDAAN 2025 initiative, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Mock Interview session for the final year students on 29th August 2025. The primary objective of this program was to provide students with a real-time interview experience, enhance their confidence, and prepare them for upcoming placement drives.

Objectives

ü  To familiarize students with the structure and process of technical and HR interviews.

ü  To evaluate students’ technical knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.

ü  To provide constructive feedback to improve students’ readiness for campus placements.

ü  To reduce interview-related anxiety by offering a simulated environment.

Structure of the Mock Interview

The mock interview was conducted in two phases:

Technical Round

ü  Focused on core Electrical and Electronics subjects, problem-solving, and application-oriented questions.

ü  Students were tested on fundamentals, practical knowledge, and project-related discussions.

HR Round

ü  Focused on communication, confidence, attitude, and general awareness.

ü  Students were evaluated on teamwork, adaptability, and leadership qualities.

Outcomes

ü  Students gained exposure to real interview scenarios, reducing nervousness.

ü  Personalized feedback was given to each student highlighting strengths and areas of improvement.

ü  Improvement was observed in communication clarity, body language, and technical articulation post-session.

ü  Students became more aware of industry expectations.
