Nature’s Canvas: The Imperfect is Perfect

The SJCE ECO Club, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering, NSS SJEC Unit, and the Cultural and Community Group (CCG), organized an Art & Modelling Competition titled “Nature’s Canvas: The Imperfect is Perfect” on 28 March 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM in Classroom No. 2204. The event aimed to promote eco-conscious creativity by encouraging students to create 2D and 3D artworks using natural and biodegradable materials such as leaves, flowers etc. Participants showcased innovative ideas reflecting themes like environmental conservation, water preservation, and harmony with nature. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, highlighting both artistic talent and environmental awareness among students. The first place was shared by two teams—Team #NC1009 (Ayesha Shama and Anit Fernandes) and Team #NC1012 (Deeksha Moger, Blessida Pinto, Chris Monteiro, and Aron Correa)—while the second place (#NC1006) was awarded to B R Rashmi, Kushi A S, Prajna D, and A Avani. The event successfully blended creativity with sustainability, reinforcing the importance of protecting the environment through artistic expression.
