The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, in association with IEEE, organized a guest session for the 7th Semester EEE students on “Career Paths for EEE Graduates – Opportunities in the GCC with a Focus on UAE & the Impact of AI”.

The resource person, Mr. Ismail Musharaf Hasan, Contracts Officer at DP World, Dubai, shared valuable insights into the various career opportunities available for Electrical Engineers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, particularly in the UAE. He emphasized the importance of connecting with alumni through LinkedIn to enhance job prospects and encouraged students to register on reputed job portals.

Mr. Ismail also highlighted the significance of gaining practical experience through internships, apprenticeships in government organizations, and skill development programs. He explained how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be leveraged for continuous learning and professional growth.

As a proud alumnus, Mr. Ismail expressed his willingness to mentor and support students in their career journey, urging them to reach out whenever required.

Around 65 students from the final and pre-final years actively participated in the session and benefited from the interactive discussion.
