The Department of Electrical & Electronics is association with ISTE-SJEC Chapter organized a technical seminar on “Smart Grid & Smart Cities” for 5 th Sem E&E students on 22 nd November 2019 by Mr Mohammed Shakir, KPTCL Representative, Mangalore City Corporation. The seminar was aimed at providing knowledge on Smart Grid & SCADA application power system. The resource person shared his knowledge on supervisory control & Data Acquisition system present in MESCOM, Kadri station. He also shared details on Smart Lightning & solar roof top system used in smart cities. The participants interacted with the resource person on details of entrance test of PSUs like MESCOM, Bangalore Metro, KPTCL etc.
