St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, Mangaluru, took part in “Contura 2.0”, the biggest Drone Racing event in the history of Gujarat conducted under the 21 st Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) National Students Convention, held at LD College of Engineering on 29 th and 30 th January 2019. Mr Yamen Akhtar Mohammed , a student of 3 rd year Electrical and Electronics Engineering brought glory to SJEC by winning the third place in the event.
The event was organized by the Indian Drone Community (IDC). IDC is a body that aims to unite all drone pilots and enthusiasts through a common medium. Various teams across the country participated along with their self-designed drones.
