As per the VTU curriculum, students have undergone Inteship in different construction companies across the state. Eleven students of the final Year had undergone their Inteship training at Marian Projects Pvt limited for about fourweeks duration. At Marian Construction Pvt. Ltd, therewere about atotal 160 students from six different colleges; students of all different Collegeshad carried out inteship and submitted the report on the knowledge gained from the inteship site. They leat about latest type of Formwork, and they were exposed to piling activity as well as construction site activities at two different sites. There were Sessions for all colleges conducted by Mr. Ujwal D’Souza – Director, Marian Projects, Mr. Navneeth - Human Resources, Mr. Sandesh - Purchase Officer, Mr. Anirudh Rao - Project Management Consultant. At the end of Four weeks students had to submit, a Report of the Work carried out at Inteship sites.
The Director of Marian, Mr. Ujwal D’Souza, along with his team members scrutinized the Inteship Reports submitted by students of six different Colleges and shortlisted the Best Inteship Reports. Different Criteria were selected to shortlist the Best Report which included Presentation, Content Covered, Documentation and understanding of Topics covered and Representation of various Topics discussed.
Subsequently, Marian Project Private limited selected our College student’s report as “BEST INTERNSHIP REPORT” to a group of five students and felicitated them by personally coming to the College and handing over certificates /mementoes to them.
