The Torque Association, in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SJEC, organized the Panto-Craft Challenge on February 28, 2024, to celebrate National Science Day. This event aimed to nurture creativity and engineering skills among high school students from the Mangaluru-Udupi region. Over 50 enthusiastic students participated in the Panto-Craft Challenge, showcasing their talent in pantograph making.
Participants were tasked with designing and constructing pantographs—a mechanical linkage that copies a motion from one point to another. The students enthusiastically applied their theoretical knowledge to practical, hands-on creations, highlighting their innovative ideas and problem-solving abilities.
The Panto-Craft Challenge 2024 was a resounding success.

Second Place: NITK English Medium School, Surathkal, Mangaluru, DK District.
