The Department of Civil Engineering at St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, organized a One Day Training Program on DCET 2025 on 29th May 2025. The program was designed for diploma students from various institutions who are aspiring to appear for the DCET 2025 examination. The objective was to equip students with subject-specific knowledge and enhance their preparedness for the competitive test.
The training covered key topics aligned with the DCET 2025 syllabus. Engineering Mathematics and Statistics & Analysis was handled by Dr. Ramananda H. S. and Ms. Lauline M. Dsouza, providing students with strong fundamentals and problem-solving strategies. IT Skills were taught by Dr. Hareesh B., focusing on essential digital competencies. Dr. Subramanya K. delivered a session on Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, while Mr. Sachin U. engaged students with insights into Project Management. Each session was interactive and aimed at strengthening core concepts.
A total of 22 students from in and around Mangaluru participated in the training. The program concluded with a mock test conducted via Google Forms, and feedback was collected from all participants. The initiative was well-received, and students expressed appreciation for the quality of content and teaching. The training was coordinated by Mr. Chitharanjan M., and concluded with remarks by Dr. Yajnheswaran B., Head of the Department.
