Industry Connect Session: Adani Cement FutureX for Civil Engineering Students

The Civil Engineering Department, in collaboration with the Placement & Shilpa Club, hosted an online session titled “Adani Cement FutureX – Interaction with Students” on 10 November 2025 through the Adani World App. The program was organised exclusively for second-year Civil Engineering students and coordinated by Dr. Nishitha Dsouza, Mr. Chittaranjan M, and Ms. Sinchana K. As part of the nationwide FutureX initiative, the session aimed to connect academic learning with real industry expectations. The Adani Cement team introduced students to the objectives, structure, and opportunities offered through FutureX, including industry exposure, hands-on learning modules, and pathways for skill development.

Students were briefed on the program’s roadmap, industry engagement avenues, internships, and the broader importance of strong industry–academia collaboration. The session also featured an active Q&A segment, giving students a chance to discuss emerging trends in cement technology, construction materials, and essential industry-ready skills. The interaction helped students gain a clearer picture of the construction sector’s expectations and encouraged them to explore career prospects within the building-materials industry. The coordinators thanked the Adani Cement team for delivering an insightful and beneficial session.
