A Motivational Talk on Entrepreneurship Development was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with IIEDC, SJEC for Final year students of E&E and Civil and pre final year students of MCA on 10 th October 2018 in Bishop Aloysius Paul Hall. The Guest speaker of the Programme was Dr. G Srinikethan, In-charge Director, NITK STEP. The Talk provided insights into the world of an Entrepreneur. The interactive session provided invaluable information on role of an Entrepreneur, skills required and the road-map ahead. The speaker stressed on the need to prepare a good Business Model before approaching a Financial Agency. The students were motivated by case studies of “Student Start-ups.” The speaker emphasized the need for Surveys of potential customers and the Market competition. The speaker shared his valuable experience as Director of NITK-STEP, and requested the young Audience to innovate and Design New Ventures and promised all possible support for the same. The Talk was well appreciated by all the students and Faculty members present for the event.
