AICUF Program 2026 – Education and Student Responsibilities

Venue: Arupe Hall, Loyola College, Manvi

The AICUF Program 2026 was organized by the AICUF Unit of Loyola College, Manvi under the theme “Education and Student Responsibilities.”

The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. Vinod Paul, SJ, Principal of Loyola College, Manvi. The Chief Guest was Rev. Fr. Merwyn Loyd Fernandes, SJ, Director – KJES and State Advisor, AICUF Karnataka. The special invitees included Ms. Chandana P, Ms. Priyanka, and Ms. Pavitra.

From St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangalore, Ms. Vinisha Dias, the Women Commission Head of the college and KJES Youth Animator, was also present and actively involved in conducting the session.

The session began with an energetic action song to create enthusiasm among the students. Ms. Vinisha Dias, as an Ignitor, explained the vision, mission, history, and activities of AICUF. Her session helped students understand the importance of being socially responsible and active members of society.

Ms. Chandana conducted various meaningful and interactive activities in which students actively participated. These activities encouraged students to reflect on the social problems around them and understand their responsibilities as students and as AICUFers. She guided them to connect their academic subjects with real-life social concerns and inspired them to take positive action in society.

Rev. Fr. Merwyn Loyd Fernandes delivered an inspiring talk on “Education and Student Responsibilities.” He emphasized that education should not be limited to personal success but should lead to service, leadership, and social commitment.

A valedictory programme was conducted at the end of the session. During this session, students shared what they had learned from the programme. The dignitaries and resource persons were honoured with a shawl, garland, and a small gift as a mark of respect and gratitude.

The programme concluded on a positive note, encouraging students to actively participate in AICUF activities and contribute meaningfully to society.

Conclusion:

The AICUF Program 2026 was meaningful, interactive, and inspiring. It successfully motivated students to become socially aware, responsible, and active contributors to society through the vision and mission of AICUF.
