Genesis is the student forum of the Department of Business Administration (MBA) at St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, dedicated to fostering leadership, teamwork, and managerial skills among students. The primary objective of the forum is to conceptualize, plan, and execute a wide range of activities and events, including management fests at the departmental, college, and inter-collegiate levels.
It serves as a dynamic platform that not only organizes events but also actively encourages student participation in various competitions and academic engagements hosted by other institutions. What sets Genesis apart is its student-driven approach—events are entirely led and managed by students, empowering them with hands-on experience in event management, decision-making, and collaboration. Faculty support is provided by the forum’s coordinator, under the guidance and encouragement of the Dean of the MBA Department, ensuring a balance between student autonomy and academic mentorship.
