About
The IUCEE Student Chapter (SISC) at St Joseph Engineering College
(SJEC) was established to create a community of aspiring engineers focused
on learning, innovation, and professional growth. The chapter bridges the
gap between academics and industry by offering students a platform to
develop skills, engage in projects, and connect with professionals.
Mission and Vision Statements: The chapter’s mission is to foster a
collaborative environment that encourages technical excellence, leadership,
and community engagement. Through workshops, events, and mentorship, SISC
aims to empower students to become professionals ready to contribute
meaningfully to their fields. The chapter’s vision is to build a community
of skilled, adaptable, and socially responsible engineers. By promoting
innovation and sustainable practices, SISC envisions its members making a
positive impact on industry and society.
Overview of Membership and Structure: he chapter consists of students
from various engineering disciplines, united by their commitment to growth
and development. Its leadership structure includes roles such as President,
Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Project Coordinator-1,
Project Coordinator-2, Convenor, Media Coordinator, and Student Coordinator,
each playing a vital role in organizing events and ensuring smooth
operations. Additionally, the chapter has 105+ members. With its
expanding membership, SISC continues to attract students eager to
enhance their knowledge, develop practical skills, and build professional
networks. This collaborative structure fosters innovation and equips
members with the tools needed for successful careers.

Key Achievements
IASF 2026
- Received the “Best Student Chapter” award at the IUCEE Awards Ceremony during ICTIEE 2026 at GITAM University, Bengaluru.
EduAiTHON 2025
- Out of 62 teams, the SJEC team was shortlisted among the top eight and recognized as a Category 2 finalist at RVCE, Bengaluru.
IASF 2024:
- Innovative Gift Design: The team led by Lisha D S (2nd Year ECE) secured 1st place at ICTIEE 2024 held at KLE Tech, Hubballi.
- Project Exhibition: The team led by Shishir S (2nd Year CSBS) secured 3rd place at ICTIEE 2024, KLE Tech, Hubballi.
AUNSF 2.0:
- Product Design: TThe Synergy team secured 1st place at ANURAG University, Hyderabad.
- Finance: The SJEC Cardcrushers team secured 1st place, and the SJEC Krishi team secured 4th place at ANURAG University, Hyderabad.
