J-Bot - V1
objectives
- User's assistant to navigate within campus.
- Escort the guests visiting the campus
J-Bot - V1 is an Autonomous Navigation Robot. The primary purpose of this is to assist users to navigate within campus. An easy LCD interface will be provided to users for selecting destination location. Once the input is received by the Robot, it will escort the user to their destination by asking the user to follow the robot. This robot is capable of self-generating the map to destination in an unknown environment and also make smart decisions in the presence of obstacles in the path.
Technology :
This Robot is built on sophisticated technologies like ROS(Robotic Operating System) for Navigation and path planning, PID for smooth movement, Smart power management, Custom developed PCB for sensor management and processing, Creative body design with good stability.
