No. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are not similar to Computer Science. In a B.E course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, students focus on the creation of algorithms that can enable machines to learn based on the data and to make independent decisions. Traditional computer science focuses on programming systems that have fixed code, but AI and ML involve the development of models that are improved by learning.
Students need not be highly mathematical to excel in this field; however, the desire to study logic, statistics, probability, and linear algebra will be beneficial. These topics form the basis of the creation of smart systems and analysis models that are taught in B.E in AI and ML colleges.
Students in B.E in AI and ML colleges take projects that include healthcare prediction systems, intelligent agriculture, conversational AI chatbots, and autonomous robotic platforms. These activities provide students with practical exposure to practical applications.
No. We do know that AI technologies are increasing, and along with that, it requires skilled people. Graduates from B.E in Artificial Intelligence colleges get more job opportunities in the field of designing, administering, and ethically implementing AI-based solutions in a range of industries.
The curriculum followed at SJEC is aligned with the standards seen in leading B.E in Artificial Intelligence colleges.SJEC allows access to advanced computing infrastructure, advanced labs, and hands-on training in tools like Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. The interaction with the industry will make sure that students get modern knowledge of applications, such as generative AI and data-driven technologies.
No, SJEC doesn’t require any prior knowledge, as it is one of the best colleges for B.E in Artificial Intelligence in Mangalore. We expect some prior knowledge of programming to be beneficial, but not mandatory. We have a curriculum that begins with the development of foundational coding and analytical skills in the first semester.
Some of the jobs that the graduates can seek include AI Engineer, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Developer, Automation Specialist, and Business Intelligence Analyst. Technology-driven organizations are interested in these positions and hire them from B.E in AI colleges for these roles.
Yes. Project-based learning is a mandatory part of B.E in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, which allows students to practice learned theory on real-world problems in academic and industry-related projects.
Yes, our program includes internships. SJEC, being one of the notable B.E. in AI and ML engg colleges in mangalore, where we believe internships are an essential part of the learning process, so students will get guaranteed professional exposure to the field before graduation.
