Call for Applications: Full-Time PhD Candidates

St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru invites applications for full-time PhD positions in the following departments:

• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Mechanical Engineering
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Mathematics

Eligibility: As specified by the Visveswarayya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Selected candidates will be required to qualify and pursue their PhD under VTU-recognized Research Centers of the college. Candidates are required to review the detailed scheme for the full-time PhD program at SJEC available here.

Ideathon-2023, the grand finale of the Udyam Saathi - 2023: An Entrepreneurial Launchpad initiative, organized by Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and St Joseph Engineering College - Mangaluru, is  scheduled for 8 December 2023. The ideathon is open for all members of the Catholic community of Mangaluru and Udupi Dioceses.

Under the Udyam Saathi initiative, a series of interventions were carried out to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship and encourage young entrepreneurs from the Catholic Community of Mangaluru and Udupi Diocese. The winners of the Ideathon will be awarded cash prizes and will also be offered incubation opportunities at SJEC. The winners will also be provided opportunities to present their ideas to investors.
