USER AWARENESS PROGRAM ON NATIONAL DIGITAL LIBRARY OF INDIA
- Executive Summary: The Department of Physics - organized a user awareness program and a quiz on National Digital Library of India in Prerana 1 lull for first year Physics cycle students on 16/05/2024 and 17/05/2024.
- Introduction: National Digital Library (NDL) India is a virtual repository of learning resources that is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the teaching, learning, and research community. 11 is sponsored and mentored by the Ministry of Education of Government India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and communication Technology OMEIC1). NDLI is designed to hold the content of any language and provides interface support for the 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and lifelong learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices, and differently- learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform interlinked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated, and maintained by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
- Objectives: The primary objective of this program was to create awareness among the students about the vast resources and opportunities available through the National Digital Library of India along with effective usage of NDLI digital platform to enhance research, learning, and educational experiences within our institution.
- Event Execution: The resource person for this program is Dr Felcy DSouza, Librarian, SJEC. Madam, delivered informative session on user awareness of National Digital library of India.
