Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Data and Decision Sciences

The Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Data and Decision Sciences", jointly organized by the IEEE Bangalore Section and the Department of Intelligent Computing and Business Systems (ICBS), St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, was successfully conducted from 15th to 19th June 2026. The programme featured 14 distinguished keynote and invited speakers from premier academic institutions, research organizations, and industry. Sessions covered a wide range of emerging topics, including data science, artificial intelligence, generative AI, conversational AI, healthcare imaging, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, IoT, urban traffic intelligence, renewable energy forecasting, robotics, and precision agriculture. The FDP provided participants with valuable insights into recent research trends, practical applications, and innovative methodologies through interactive lectures, technical discussions, and engaging question-and-answer sessions.

The programme concluded with a Valedictory Ceremony on 19th June 2026, marking the successful completion of five days of academic and professional enrichment. Certificates were distributed to participants, and the organizers expressed gratitude to the IEEE Bangalore Section, resource persons, institutional management, and participants for their support and active involvement. The positive feedback received from participants highlighted the relevance of the sessions, the quality of expert interactions, and the practical orientation of the programme.
