The Department of Intelligent Computing and Business Systems (ICBS), in association with the NEXUS Student Association, successfully conducted a two-day workshop on “Data Visualization and Business Intelligence using Power BI” for the 7th semester CSBS students on October 27th and 28th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Room 2403, AB-II.

The session was handled by Mr. Davor John D’Souza, Assistant Professor from the ICBS Department, who guided students through the key features of Microsoft Power BI. He demonstrated how to create interactive dashboards, analyze datasets, and generate meaningful business insights using visualization tools.

The workshop gave students hands-on experience with real-time examples, helping them understand how data visualization supports data-driven decision-making in the business world. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to explore different analytical approaches.

Participants expressed that the workshop was informative and practical, bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and industry applications. The department received positive feedback, with many students appreciating the opportunity to enhance their technical skills in a professional tool widely used in industry.s
