“From Learners to Earners - No-Code + AI Workshop”

The Department of Intelligent Computing and Business Systems (ICBS), in association with the Industry and Innovation Group, St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, successfully organized a session titled “From Learners to Earners – No-Code + AI Workshop” on 10 November 2025, from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm at Prerana Hall, AB III. The session was aimed at equipping 2nd year students of CSE, ICBS and EC department with industry-relevant skills that bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world earning opportunities.

The session was delivered by Mr. Ritesh Hegde, Founder of Ritz7, who served as the resource person. The session focused on emerging trends in no-code platforms and AI-driven tools, emphasizing how learners can use these technologies to build solutions, automate workflows, and create value without extensive programming expertise. Mr. Hegde provided practical insights into freelancing fundamentals, the role of AI agents, and strategies for personal brand and portfolio building in a competitive digital ecosystem.

The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Vijetha U, Assistant Professor, ICBS, with overall guidance from the convenors Dr. Harivinod N, HoD – ICBS, and Dr. Vijay V S, Assistant Professor – ME. The session was well received by students, successfully meeting its objective of motivating learners to transform their skills into viable earning opportunities through technology-driven innovation.
