(MOU between SJEC and FMMCH for chemical management dated 27/6/2018)
A training programme was organized by the Department of Chemistry for the FMMCH technical and non technical staff of FMMCH on 17th of June 2018.
The programme started with a welcome note by Dr Shivashanker Head of the Department of Biochemistry FMMCH.Then Dr K. Jyothi Professor & Head Department of Chemistry stated the training programme with a powerpoint presentation. The presentation called vital components as to how to handle the chemicals in the lab what are the safety measures and precautions to be taken in the lab during the storage as well as the course of experiment. Later a ppt quiz was organized which was enthusiastically answered by the participants. Later a MCQ containing Quiz was organized which the participations could answer by discussing just for them to know how much knowledge they have gained. It was a true delight to see the participants eager to put down their answers. Later the answers were displayed from them to cross verify. Dr Shivashanker Thanked the team consisiting of Dr K. Jyothi Professor & Head Department of Chemistry Ms Pramila Rita D'Souza Assistant Profeesor Ms. Prathima S Assistant professor Ms. Sheetal Feandes Assistant Professor And Ms. Smitha D'Souza Lecturer for briefing them with the safety measures in handling chemicals.
