The SJEC ECO Club, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering, NSS SJEC Unit, and the Cultural and Community Group (CCG), organized an Art & Modelling Competition titled “Nature’s Canvas: The Imperfect is Perfect” on 28 March 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM in Classroom No. 2204.
The event aimed to promote eco-conscious creativity by encouraging students to create 2D and 3D artworks using natural and biodegradable materials such as leaves, flowers, and other organic elements.
Participants presented innovative and thought-provoking creations reflecting themes such as environmental conservation, water preservation, and harmony with nature. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, showcasing both artistic talent and a strong sense of environmental awareness among students.
The first place was jointly awarded to two teams, Team #NC1009 (Ayesha Shama and Anit Fernandes) and Team #NC1012 (Deeksha Moger, Blessida Pinto, Chris Monteiro, and Aron Correa). The second place (#NC1006) was secured by B R Rashmi, Kushi A S, Prajna D, and A Avani.
