The “From Concept to Solution: Engineering the Future” Poster Presentation Competition was successfully held on 23rd May 2025, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, for 6th semester Civil Engineering students at SJEC.
Organized as part of the Project-Based Learning initiative, the event was coordinated by Dr. Aswathy C M and Ms. Sinchana K, SHILPA Club Coordinators, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering.
The competition provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase innovative solutions to real-world challenges under the themes of Solid Waste Management and Advanced Geotechnical Engineering. Posters were assessed based on creativity, technical content, and presentation quality by Mr. Sachin U and Ms. Sinchana K, Assistant Professors in the Civil Engineering Department.
The event saw enthusiastic participation, with students demonstrating strong problem-solving and design skills. Cash prizes were awarded to the winning teams, recognizing their outstanding efforts and ingenuity.
