A Technical Talk on "Opportunities through GATE exam" was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering in association with NIRMAN, for the second, third and final year students of Civil Engineering on 18th November 2021 at 12.00 pm in Bishop Aloysius Paul Hall, Third floor, Civil Block. The talk was delivered by Dr Ananth Pai S, APEX Mangaluru. The technical talk was organized by Dr Yajneshwaran B, HOD-CE, Mr Sachin U NIRMAN coordinator and Ms Reena James Rodrigues, technical talk coordinator, Department of Civil Engineering. The technical talk aimed at enhancing the knowledge of the students regarding GATE exam. It highlighted the different avenues and areas of civil engineering, which can be explored by the students after graduation. This talk served the purpose of career development in field of Civil Engineering providing a deep insight on the job and higher studies aspects also their availability. It was an informative session and a new step taken by the department for the betterment of the students.
