The student association CIPHER of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering organized an Intradepartmental fest 'AURORA' on November 4th, 2017. The fest comprised of three events - Technical, Semi technical, Non-technical.
Technical events - Poster presentation and 'Game of Codes'
Poster presentation:
The participants were asked to prepare a poster presentation on any technology of their choice. Mr Sreenath Acharya and Mr Sunil Kamath, Assistant Professors in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering judged the competition. Mr Nikitha and Ms Riona won the competition for their presentation on 'Iris Scanner'.
Game of codes:
The event consisted three rounds which comprised of a Quiz, Solving technical crosswords, Debugging the code given, Technical treasure hunt and Programming. Mr Raghavendra Bhat, Mr Prajwal D'Cunha and Mr Royden Rego of third year won the competition.
Semi technical event - 'Tech Roadies'
The event consisted three rounds - Crossword on general topics, Dinchak hunt (Treasure hunt), Break up (Arrange the jumbled code). Mr Shravan Baliga, Mr Preetham Rai, Mr Nigel D'Costa won the competition.
Non-technical event - 'Counter Strike 1.6'
A non-technical event 'Counter Strike 1.6' was held. Mr Anoop, Mr Mcanroe, Mr Merwin, Ms Lasya Hegde, Mr Rufford of final year won the competition.
