CSE: Developing a Methodology for Multidisciplinary Research

The Research Committee in association with the Department of Computer science and Engineering organized a talk on “Developing a Methodology for Multidisciplinary Research” by Dr Ashok Rao, Advisor and Research Professor VVCE, Mysuru, Former Head Network Project CEDT, IISc, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm in Spoorthi Hall on 21st May 2019. Dr Rachana P, Associate Professor, CSE welcomed Dr Sridevi Saralaya, HOD of Computer Science and Engineering Department, HOD’s of various other departments and faculties and introduced the resource person to the audience. Dr Sridevi Saralaya, HOD of Computer Science and Engineering Department welcomed the resource person with a bouquet of flowers.

Resource person focused on the following objectives:

1) First session: What is Really Research and how Research can be done?

2) Second Session: How Interdisciplinary Research can be done and what are the Components of Interdisciplinary Research (Using a case study in detail).

 

At the end of the session Dr Anjali Ganesh - Professor, MBA felicitated the resource persons with a memento. The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr Rachana P, Associate Professor, Research Coordinator -CSE.
