CIPHER, the Students’ Association of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SJEC, for the academic year 2016-17, organized a talk on Financial Management by Dr Prakash Pinto, Dean – MBA at SJEC - Mangaluru.
Dr Rio D'Souza welcomed the gathering and gave a brief background of why Financial Planning is important in the early stage of a career. Ms Namratha Bhat hosted the stage programme and introduced the resource person to the gathering.
More than 120 students of the IV Year were present and benefited from this session. Dr Prakash Pinto shared information like financial requirement at different stages of life span and how one can be ready for different types of financial problems. Students raised queries about different modes of saving options and were offered expert advices by the Resource Person.
