Accompanying other pumped up events in the CSE department, students were set ablaze to showcase their presentation skills in a versatile manner. Yes, this is in context to the overwhelming event coined Papyrus. This events cynosure was, delivering knowledge on recent technical topics they thrived on. The faculty coordinators were Ms. Smitha V George, Assistant Professor-CSE, and Ms. Apaa K, Assistant Professor-CSE. It commenced at sharp 11 AM in Academic block III, sixth floor, room number 3504. This event was compered by Ms. Divyanjalin A Soans. She initiated with a welcome speech and wished all the participants their streak of luck. Mr. Gerald H Feandes, Assistant Professor-CSE, Mr. Shreenath Acharya, Assistant Professor-CSE, Ms. Sumangala N, In-charge HOD-Computer Applications, Mr. Gururaja S, Assistant Professor- Computer Applications, were the judges of the competition. There was a total of 28 teams that participated. Students from inter-colleges were also allowed to participate and put-forth their anonymous ideas. Ms. Dynita Pinto then briefed about the rubrics for the event. Since massive students showed tremendous interest in this event, they were split into two classrooms. The remainder were carry-forwarded in the neighbouring classroom.
All the teams showed great enthusiasm and performed well. The winners were Ms. Deekshitha from SJEC and the second prize was bagged by Ms. Divya and Ms. Khateeja Rukshana from Srinivas School of Engineering. Mementos were given to all the judges and the faculty were falicitated by Dr. Sridevi Saralaya, HOD-CSE department.The student coordinators for the event were Ms. Deekshita and Ms. Christal Lobo from fourth year CSE department.
