Cipher, a student organization, organized a Tech it out quiz competition on April 3, 2023, at 1.30 pm in Bishop Aloysius Paul Hall and final round held on 5-4-2023 at 1.30PM onwards.The quiz aimed to test the knowledge and skills of students on various technological advancements and innovations. The competition had a cash prize of 3000, which added to the excitement of the participants.
Participants: The quiz was open to all students of the college, and around 20 teams, consisting of two members each, participated in the competition. The participants were from various streams and backgrounds, including computer science, electronics, and engineering etc.
The competition had two rounds - preliminary, and finals. The preliminary round had multiple-choice questions, which were to be answered in 20 minutes. The semi-finals consisted of two rounds: visual round and buzzer round. In the visual round, the participants were shown images related to technology, and they had to identify them. In the buzzer round, the participants had to answer questions related to technology in the shortest possible time.
The team Phonix from CSE won first prize with cash prize Rs. 2000.The runners-up were team Isaec from the ICBS department. The winning team received a cash prize of 2000, and the runners-up received Rs,1000.
The Cipher presents Tech it out quiz was a successful event, and it provided an opportunity for students to showcase their technological knowledge and skills. The competition was well-organized, and the participants had a great time. The quiz helped the students to enhance their technical knowledge and encouraged them to stay updated with the latest technological advancements.
