Department of Computer Science & Engineering organised an expert talk on "Advances in Computer Networking and Security ” by Dr Mohit P. Tahiliani Assistant Professor Computer Science and Engineering Department, NITK Surathkal. The talk was held on 14th January 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM to 5th semester students of CSE in Prerana Hall Academic Block -III.
Dr Chandra Naik, Associate Professor, Department of CSE welcomed the gathering and introduced the speaker Dr Mohit P. Tahiliani and his students to the audience. Dr Sridevi Saralaya, HOD of Computer Science and Engineering Department florally welcomed the resource person. More than 124 students of the 5th semester were present and benefited from this session. The highlights of the talk are listed below.
"Postman Classroom Program" is a Certification course (no charges, it's free) which contains two courses and is supposed to be done in self-study mode (it takes about 3 to 5 hours to complete, and can be done by the students on their own working from home). Any student who completes this program gets two things: (1) a digital badge from Postman which can be attached to Resume, used in a LinkedIn profile, etc., and (2) a Certificate (hard-copy) from NITK.
