The EELS Association, in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, organized a warm and heartfelt Farewell Programme for the final-year EEE students on 01 December 2025 at the Kalam Auditorium. The event was coordinated by Mr. Deepesh Kanchan and Mr. Joysun D’Souza, Assistant Professors, while the programme was convened by Dr. Sanath Saralaya, Head of the Department.
The programme commenced with an emotional and nostalgic video presentation, showcasing memorable moments of the outgoing batch and celebrating their journey in the department. This was followed by a welcome address by Dr. Sanath Saralaya, who extended his best wishes to the students and offered words of guidance as they embark on the next phase of their careers.
A special message and greeting were also delivered by Mr. Sathisha K, Assistant Professor, who raised a toast on behalf of all faculty members, acknowledging the achievements, growth, and contributions of the graduating students. In response, Mr Saivardan and Ms Deepika, representatives of the outgoing batch, expressed their gratitude through an emotional speech in which they reflected upon the joyful experiences, learning opportunities, and support they received from their teachers and peers.
The formal function concluded with the distribution of mementos to all final-year students. The honors were carried out by Dr Sanath Saralaya, Dr Sheryl Colaco, Dr Ajithanjaya Kumar, Mr Sathisha K, and Ms Bharathi Rao, who conveyed their blessings and best wishes to each student.
The programme was well-received and appreciated by all staff and students present, marking a memorable and meaningful farewell to the outgoing EEE batch of 2026.
