The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering in association with IEEE Student branch organized a Hands on session on “From Concepts to Circuit: Demystifying Electrical Engineering” on 5th July for the pre-final year students. The hands on session aimed at enhancing the knowledge on the basic concepts of Electrical Engineering.
The session started with introduction to the basic circuit element components such as resistor, capacitor & inductor. The behaviour of these components in the circuit was demonstrated using MATLAB. Further he also demonstrated how an electrical circuit can be implemented using MATLAB & how circuit performance can be evaluated.
He also mentioned about the importance of understanding the fundamental concepts which will further help in understanding the courses. He stressed on the different job opportunities in the felid of Electrical Engineering. A total of 60 pre-final year students participated in the session.
