An industrial visit to Kaiga Generating Station was organized for the VI Semester Electrical and Electronics Engineering students on 29 January 2026. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to nuclear power generation, plant safety systems, electrical power distribution, and control mechanisms used in a modern nuclear power station.
The visit helped students understand the real-time application of concepts studied in subjects such as Power Generation, Power System Protection, Electrical Machines, Control Systems, and Instrumentation.
The industrial visit provided practical exposure and enhanced students’ technical understanding of large-scale power generation systems. It also improved awareness about career opportunities in the power and energy sector. The interaction with engineers and plant experts motivated students to explore advanced technologies in electrical engineering.
The industrial visit to Kaiga Generating Station was highly informative and beneficial for the VI Semester EEE students. The visit helped students understand the practical aspects of nuclear power generation, electrical systems, and industrial safety practices. The experience strengthened their technical knowledge and provided valuable industrial exposure relevant to their academic curriculum.
