An outreach program was conducted by the final year students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering department in association with EELs association on 22 November 2024. The activities for the outreach program were guided by Ms Dhanalakshmi, Headmistress of Government High School, Mullakad.
A total of 66 final year students took part in the program, where in they interacted with the 8th and 9th standard students of the school showcasing their project work, conducting quiz, games and other activities. A total of 64 students from these classes took part in the sessions. Concluding the activity, the final year students also interacted with the 10th standard students of the school. Projects were displayed and guidance on career after high school was discussed with these students.
The session was highly appreciated by the school staff and students. This interactive session fostered learning by connecting classroom curriculum and real world issues for the final year students of the department. Also, the outreach activity provided an opportunity to develop leadership, team work, and soft skills. Ms Bharathi Rao, Ms Divya K Pai, Assistant Professors, Dept. of EEE accompanied the students for this outreach activity.
