A technical talk on "How to Write a Research Paper" was organized by the EELs association in collaboration with the IEEE SJEC student Chapter-PES for the 3rd-year students of the EEE department on 30th June 2023. Dr. Sheryl Grace Colaco, Professor of the EEE department, was the resource person for the program.
Dr. Sheryl started with the basic idea of working with research and innovative minds. She gave an introduction to research and explained the concepts mandatory for writing a research paper. She elaborated on the literature survey, methodology, citations, and pictorial representation in a research paper. Finally, she illustrated the IEEE conference template in detail for writing research papers with importance given to abstracts, pictorial depiction of results, and conclusions.
Students found this workshop interesting and knowledgeable. The program was coordinated by Ms. Madhavi Gatty, Assistant Professor from the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
