The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a project exhibition cum competition for the final year student projects under the banner "TECHNOVA 2024”, on 2nd May 2024. 15 teams consisting of 3- 4 members in each team participated in this event.
The panel of judges consisted of a team of exteal and inteal judges. The exteal judge was Mr Sandesha (AE,MESCOM). The inteal judge was Mr Subramanya Bhat (Assistant Professor, EEE, SJEC).
Among the 15 teams who participated, the first prize was bagged for the project titled "Pesticide Spraying Bot” by Mr Vishal P,Mr P D Nishith,Ms Roja S and Ms Rakshitha under the guidance of Mr Ajithanjeya Kumar (Assistant Professor, EEE, SJEC).The second prize was bagged for the project titled "Baraille Keyboard for Elevators” by Mr. K Koushik Bhat, Mr. Pinkesh Kumar, Mr. Roystan Dsa and Ms Vaishnavi Shetti under the guidance of Mr Deepesh Kanchan (Assistant Professor, EEE, SJEC). The third prize was bagged for the project titled "Efficient Inventory Control through RFID Technology” by Mr. Rovian Pinto, Ms. Renita Deeksha Pais Mr. Dhanush B Sanil and Ms Yashasvi under the guidance of Mr Sathisha K (Assistant Professor, EEE , SJEC). The award for the most innovative project went to the project titled "Environmental Friendly, Cost Effective and Electrical Fishing System” by Mr. Cleavon DSouza, Mr Jason Antony Quadras, Mr. Prekshith Lennon Rodrigues and Mr. Reyan Jaison DSouza under the guidance of Mr. Sathisha K (Assistant Professor, EEE, SJEC).
The event concluded with a Valedictory function at 1:00pm. Students of 2nd year and 3rd year EEE visited the project exhibition and discussed on their queries.
